Large dog? Pregnant pet? Housing issue? We’ll make you a priority!

Large dogs make up a substantial majority of the animals that end up in shelters and stay the longest. Pregnant cats and dogs are imminent for giving birth to unwanted litters. We don’t want anyone to ever have to lose their pet or their home because their pet isn’t fixed. We consider it a priority to spay or neuter pets in these situations.

We may be able to help get your pet fixed sooner than later at no cost to you!

  • If you have a dog that weighs 70 pounds or more

  • If you think your pet might be pregnant

  • If you are in a situation where your housing is at risk because your pet isn’t fixed

  • If your are houseless

SNCKC’s partner organizations can often accommodate free spay/neuter appointments for priority animals with relatively short notice.
